Durango Dog Ranch offers high end dog sled adventures for all ages. Our season begins mid November until mid April, weather permitting. There is a guide on every sled and all participants will drive the sled. All trips are by reservation and require a 50% deposit. Call for more details and to book your adventure. Experience "Mush on the Brain."

  
MUSH on the Brain $400 per sled Half day Mushing adventure,personalized hands-on instruction, and your own guide. Two adults or 400 lb. weight limit per sled or two adults and a small child (or two, depending on sizes). You will be whisked through the forest and can even drive the sled!  Snacks and hot drink provided at the end of the trip.  This trip takes approx 3-4 hours and is good for those wanting a bigger adventure.
MUSHing Madness

$695 per sled
Full day adventure Mushing deep into the National Forest with a a powerful dog team, and your own personal guide. Two adults or 375 lb. weight limit per sled. Picnic lunch on the trail.  This is the adventure of a lifetime.  Participants should be in good physical condition and prepared to run with the dogs!  Leave approx. 7 hours for this trip.

Mush Ado about Mushing:         $75 per person
Visit the kennel, pet the dogs and go on a lap with the dogs.  Two per sled will shush across the meadows on a sled with a guide. Afterwards, enjoy hot chocolate and camaraderie with the dogs. Includes tour of kennel, harnessing dogs,  lap  by dogsled, and hot chocolate with your very own DDR mug. Allow 2 hours which includes travel time from Durango proper (DDR is located approximately 20 minutes West of Downtown Durango, just off of highway 160). For Groups of Eight or more.  Conditions permitting only.
All trips are by advanced reservation ONLY and require a 50% deposit.
